What a year it’s been!
The Joyned team had many great achievements in the past twelve months. As we reflect on a standout year, we’re proud to announce 2024 business results, which include achieving $130M in gross booking value to date. We also hit an important milestone with our social buying sessions, reaching 2M sessions in total.
In January 2o24, we celebrated being named the sixth most innovative startup across Europe in the TechRound100 and just a month later, we successfully secured $8 million during our Series A funding round.
Another significant moment was the launch of our AI Assistant for travel websites and hotels, answering users’ most common booking questions on the spot, according to their destination and date of the trip.
Team Joyned also had a strong presence at industry events, including the Fitur International Tourism Trade Fair, the ITB Berlin, the TravelTech Show, and Phocuswright Europe where we created fantastic connections with thought leaders and propelled the message of social revenue technologies. Our Co-Founder and Chief Business Officer Jonathan Abraham hosted an industry roundtable at Phocuswright Europe where he discussed how to boost conversions, loyalty, and lifetime value alongside prominent industry experts.
What’s more, Joyned was listed in TechRound’s AITech35 competition, celebrating the entrepreneurs and companies at the forefront of AI advancement and also shortlisted for the Best SaaS Product for Loyalty and Retention Award at the SaaS Awards 2024.
Better still, we were highly commended by industry titans Skift in last year’s IDEA Awards!
We were also proud to appoint a distinguished group of experts, bringing over 70 years of collective experience to help us elevate our social revenue platform. This includes Antonella Vecchio, Bryan London, Alexandre Jorre, and Ran Balbus. Another key addition to the team was the appointment of Asi Ginio as Chairman of the Board who plays a key role in shaping the company’s future strategy.
In Q4, the team went to the Amadeus APAC Airline Forum, the Virtuoso Travel Tech Summit, the Skift Global Forum, and finished off the year with the Phocuswright Conference in Arizona, USA.
Finally, we rounded off 2024 by winning Best Small Technology Supplier at the Travolution Awards held in London.
